The Treasure House and Beverly Art Gallery consists of four exhibition spaces: two dedicated to temporary exhibitions and two with the most important pieces of the collections on display. The museum specifically focuses on an ongoing program of social history and community partnership exhibits. The Treasure House Museum then offers an introduction and insight into the history and culture of the East Riding with highlights including the spectacular South Cave Weapons Cache discovered in 2002.

The permanent collection of the Beverley Art Gallery is on display in the original gallery space, dating back to 1910. The collection consists mainly of pieces of Victorian, Edwardian and modern art, with the main aim of celebrating local artists Fred and Mary Elwell. temporary exhibitions, the Beverley Art Gallery organizes a lively program of temporary exhibitions ranging from the more contemporary and multimedia to the more traditional featuring local, national and international artists.
