The Northern Ireland War Memorial (NIWM) is a museum about the history of how Northern Ireland dealt with and, in turn, contributed to World War II. The museum, located in the cathedral district of Belfast, houses and displays a particularly valuable collection relating to the Belfast Blitz, American forces, the Ulster Home Guard, industry and the role of women, as well as several significant works of art .

The Northern Ireland War Memorial collects a series of stories about the Second World War in Northern Ireland. In fact, around 100 testimonies have been recorded and are available free of charge to researchers, students and members of the public interested in learning first-hand accounts of Northern Ireland during World War II.
