From 15 December to 28 April 2019
The Giuseppe Carta project. Epiphany of the Earth, focused on the fruits of the earth, typical of Apulian production, will show the public an articulated corpus of sculptures and paintings, adapting to any architectural context. Lemons, onions, grapes and giant chillies in bronze and polychrome resins, will give new life to the indoor and outdoor spaces of some of the most famous cultural sites of the Puglia museum complex. In Gioia del Colle, on the other hand, two works will be presented with which the artist intends to pay homage to Pier Paolo Pasolini.
Giuseppe Carta's language alternates the two-dimensionality of the canvas with the monumental format of all-round models and aims to build visual narratives that arise as apparitions produced from the earth, and grow as architectures that take shape in the space in which the work is conceived.
