A journey through time through the archeology of Puglia. A history of objects that narrate peoples, narrating encounters, exchanges and clashes against the background of a unique territory. time of the emperor Augustus.
This is the message of “ Ancient Peoples of Puglia. Archeology tells” , curated by Massimo Osanna and Luca Mercuri, the great exhibition that will be available at the Castello Svevo in Bari , starting from 5 December 2022, among the numerous city events of the night of San Nicola dei Baresi, and until to 31 March 2023 at the normal cost of the Castle access ticket.
The exhibition, produced entirely by the Ministry of Culture and, in particular, by the General Directorate of Museums, which is its creator, and by the Regional Directorate of Museums of Puglia, will offer the public a spectacular setting between video installations and works from the museums of the Regional Directorate of Museums of Puglia , but also of the Regional Directorate of Basilicata Museums, by the National Archaeological Museum of Taranto, by civic and regional museums and by the deposits of the Superintendencies, thus allowing even finds that are not usually exhibited to see the light.
