Paolo Icaro, one of the protagonists of the artistic research of the Sixties, close to the experience of Arte Povera, has always experienced the evolution of sculptural action in relation to form and space. «The space of sculpture - said the artist - is the same space in which my body is, I am in the space where the sculpture is also. Sculpture is therefore a body, the body of the idea that becomes vulnerable to gravity like any other body in the universe ».
