It is almost the synthesis of Lattes' pictorial and existential vision: life is theater and, as such, to be observed with irony and disenchantment, taking refuge among the unaware presence of puppets, protagonists of cruel games, inanimate objects that become actors only by the will of others . With extreme irony, the painter seems to withdraw, entrusting us with an embarrassing doubt: is the artist the comedian, the handler of the strings or is he too sadly part of this ambiguous representation?
