The artist Giuseppina Maurizi considers her wand a needle that intertwines with unique plots. Currently residing in Milan, she was born and raised in Viterbo, where she attended the Art High School and the Academy of Fine Arts. After working for over twenty years as a costume designer and set designer for theaters and advertising agencies, in 2018 she dedicated herself to sewing and embroidery. The fierce recovery of ancient techniques and memories intertwines with delicate gestures, in a masterful celebration of care and sacrifice.
