Giovanni Gastel in the 70s discovers photography. In 1975-76 he worked for Christie's auction house and approached the world of fashion. The consecration came in 1997 with the personal exhibition at the Milan Triennale, curated by Germano Celant. Professional success consolidated in the following decade. In 2002 he received the Oscar for photography.
