Francesco Giuliari was born in Verona. He attended the college of the Salesians and, having obtained the classical high school diploma, he left as a volunteer in the army for Somalia. Remaining extraneous to the official market circuit, he paints portraits or still lifes on commission, scattered with enigmas to decode, personal memories, quotes and allusions drawn from art, history, philosophy, literature.
