Structure in natural, natural anodized and black aluminum formed by a series of cubic modules with a differently colored and angled bottom. On the back a written by the author. Tag with signature and date at the top right.
The artist, trained in Milan, begins with informal works but later dedicates himself exclusively to the study of perceptual ambiguities, creating structures - strictly numbered in progression - that involve the viewer with their variations in depth, their alternation of color and their axonometric deformations. The work in question is a work played on this depth, on these shadows that also act inside the object that must be seen from the front. It is part of that set of works in the balance between painting and sculpture, which make optical deception one of the fundamental elements. The work was exhibited at the first Biennial of the Progressive Museum of Contemporary Art in Livorno.
