The realization of the wooden statues of the Passion takes place at the end of the century. XVI when the Confraternity commissioned a series of "statues of devotion to adorn our Oratory": a Christ at the column, an Ecce Homo, a Christ carrying the cross and three "Dolenti", a Addolorata, a San Giovanni and a Magdalena, originally linked to a wooden statue of the dead Christ now dispersed. These last three statues were therefore part of a "Compianto".
