The oinochoe, a product imported from the Greek city of Corinth, can be classified in the period of Corinthian middle ceramic dating back to 550 BC and is attributed to the Painter of the Medallion. On the neck of the vase is depicted the goddess Artemis holding a swan and a ram by the neck, while on the body there are friezes with animals of different species. The vase was found in the early 1900s in the Sanctuary of Malophoros in Selinunte (Trapani).
