The royal sarcophagus cushion of Peter II the Great is a rectangular cushion with three side seams made of high quality silk taffeta , reddish in color and without decorations. Found inside the royal sarcophagus of Peter II el Grande , Count of Barcelona and King of Aragon.
It is the only funerary monument of the kings of the Crown of Aragon , which has arrived partially intact until today. It is one of the few tombs of the European royal lineage that has not been exhumed and the only one of the Catalan kings not to have been plundered.
