Description

Firearms are still the flagship of Brescia's arms production. In the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries the barrels produced above all by the artisans of Gardone Val Trompia were famous all over the world and some dynasties of gunsmiths enjoyed enormous fame. Among these the Cominazzo family stood out, who generally signed themselves as Lazarino Cominazzo, who made famous the reeds they produced, called "lazarine reeds", to the point that already in ancient times their signature was forged even in the East.
