In some documents the two pieces are mentioned as Coffee Brico (700) with wooden handle / Punzoni R surmounted by a pine cone (Augusta) ICE / Brico da latte (idem). In others, however, they are cited in a more generic way. What the Coronini had identified as a milk jug could be considered, on the other hand, a selfish coffee pot, destined to contain the drink for one service only. Thanks to the interpretation of the punches, it is possible to trace the city, the production workshop and the relative period: the "pine cone surmounted by the letter R" indicates the city of Augusta and the period from 1765 to 1767; the initials "ICE" are those that reveal the Protestant silversmith Johann Christoph Engelbrecht. The decorative type, pyriform, with a torsional pattern, with a short spout, wooden handle, dome lid with three-dimensional grip, is very recurrent, not only in Germany but throughout the European continent. It is not excluded that these two pieces have been retouched and restored over time. In the lower part there are several traces of chiselling.
