The event

On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September 2021, the GEP - European Heritage Days, the largest and most popular cultural event in Europe, are back. This year's theme is of particular importance as it aims to be a reflection on participation in cultural heritage extended to all citizens, including all age groups, ethnic groups, minorities present in the area and people with disabilities. The slogan "Cultural heritage: ALL included!" is the translation of “Heritage: All inclusive” chosen by the Council of Europe and shared by the countries participating in the event. During the two days, guided tours, extraordinary openings and digital initiatives will be organized in state and non-state museums and places of culture. In addition, on Saturday evening special openings of state museums are planned with admission at the symbolic cost of 1 euro (excluding free admissions provided by law). In daytime openings on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th, the places of culture of the Puglia Museums Regional Directorate will observe the ordinary opening hours with the usual entrance costs and the concessions and free admissions provided by law. The extraordinary evening opening on Saturday 25 September instead provides for an entrance ticket at the symbolic cost of 1 euro for paid sites (except for free admission required by law).
