The Museum of Santo Spirito is located in the historic city of Agrigento. The museum is located inside the Holy Spirit monumental complex, the most popular medieval monument remained in the city. The exhibition develops in the monumental complex cells used as exhibition halls. The museum houses an ethno-anthropological collection and an art section. The ethno-anthropological collection reflects the rural culture and traces the local traditions. Among the exhibits in this collection are antique toys, musical instruments, copies of temples, humble utensils, primitive machines for the preparation of pasta, tools and much more. The artistic section hosts including paintings from the sixteenth to the eighteenth century by local artists and Southern Italy.
