The Frauen Museum Wiesbaden is a museum in Wiesbaden. Inaugurated in 1984, the museum was born in the years following the revolution of '68, when the sociology student Beatrixe Klein was inspired by the lessons of the sociologist Maria Mies to deal with international women's movements. In 1975 Klein founded a women's center in Wiesbaden. In 1984 the exhibition "The life of women in Wiesbaden" was the founding nucleus for the realization of the museum.
