The birthplace of Franz Schubert, the "Schubert Geburtshaus", is located in Vienna. It is a small two-story house that blends in with the more modern buildings of a busy street.Despite its modest exterior, inside there is a courtyard with a wooden terrace, surrounded by plants and flowers, creating an intimate atmosphere detached from the urban chaos. The visitable interior includes a few rooms, with some Schubert memorabilia, including his glasses, a piano, and a guitar.A part of the second floor hosts an exhibition dedicated to the paintings of Adalbert Stifter.
