The Municipal Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art of Viareggio (GAMC) is set up in the historic Palazzo delle Muse, in the city center. The most consistent nucleus of the collection is made up of graphic works which makes the Institute one of the most important national exhibition centers specialized in the sector. The Gallery hosts temporary exhibitions and educational activities aimed at the younger audience.
