From 1 October to 1 November 2021
Paola Angelini a year ago entered Ca 'Pesaro, selected in 2019 at Art Verona for the Level 0 program and invited to the Gallery for the XVI edition / 2020 of the Contemporary Day curated by the Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums - AMACI. For a few weeks she was in contact with the treasured masterpieces, confronting the lights and shadows of history and working in the silence and stillness of the rooms, her temporary studio on the days it was closed to the public, in October 2020.
The project room of the Museum reopens today starting from the experience of Paola Angelini and her memories of the period spent in Ca 'Pesaro. An exhibition that is a tribute by the artist to the collections of the Museum and a further testimony of the vitality of the Gallery, which since the early years of the twentieth century has hosted together with the masterpieces of the most important protagonists of international art also the productions of young and revolutionary avant-gardes.
The large Splendor Solis canvas is a work in progress, a work in progress that the artist still concludes with his presence, during the exhibition, curated by Elisabetta Barisoni.
