The Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation is located in the historic center of Venice. The headquarters of the Foundation's exhibitions is in Piazza San Marco, under the arcades of the Procuratie Nuove. The space is spread over two floors and is suitable both to historical exhibits that purely contemporary exhibitions. The Foundation also has some side windows facing in Second Calle de l'Ascension occasionally engaged for temporary exhibitions. The Foundation is home to artist residences and is among the oldest in Europe. In fact, since 1898 the Duchess Felicita Bevilacqua La Masa ordered his private residence as a place to promote young artists in Venice. The Bevilacqua La Masa has maintained the original mission of promoting young artists through the activity of the Artist Studios, considered an extraordinary relevance factor.
