The show

The exhibition "The other face of the moon", organized by the Stazione dell'Arte Foundation, in collaboration with the Mirella Bentivoglio Archive of Rome and with the support of the Municipality of Ulassai, the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and the Foundation of Sardinia, represents the first retrospective dedicated to Mirella Bentivoglio (Klagenfurt 1922 - Rome 2017) by a museum institution in Sardinia and will be inaugurated on Saturday 25 September, at 18:00, in the evocative spaces of the former train depot.

Curated by Davide Mariani, director of the Stazione dell'Arte and by Paolo Cortese, curator of the Mirella Bentivoglio Archive, the exhibition highlights the complexity and depth of his poetics, through the exhibition of over fifty works, photos, videos and sketches that allow you to appreciate the most relevant moments of his artistic and curatorial career, stimulating reflections and dialogues on topics that are more current than ever today.
