Designed and supported by the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, the City of Turin and the Piedmont Region, the Polo del '900 is the result of an urban regeneration project which in 2016 gave back to the citizens the San Celso and San Daniele Palaces built by Filippo Juvarra in 1700.
The participating institutions represent a point of reference in the historical, social, economic and cultural research of the twentieth century and in the safeguarding of the values of resistance, democracy and freedom, making spaces available to the public for events, exhibitions and shows, reading rooms, libraries and archives, a café, a courtyard.
The Polo is a place with many different souls and a shared vision that focuses on history and critical thinking for reasoning, offering opportunities for knowledge and entertainment that aim at collective well-being and the formation of a critical conscience to address major issues related to today .
