Twenty photographic works placed along the tour route are the project that the English photographer of Turkish origins, Güler Ates, created for the MAO, within an educational proposal formulated by the Companies and Member Bodies of the Consultation for the Valorisation of Assets Artistic and Cultural in Turin for the students of the Albertina Academy, with the Royal Academy of Schools in London, where the artist is Tutor.
The exhibition is part of Art Site Fest 2019, a festival dedicated to contemporary arts in places of culture in eleven prestigious locations; in addition to the Museum of Oriental Art: Reggia di Venaria, Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi , Palazzo Madama, Palazzo Chiablese, Royal Castle of Govone, Castle of Moncalieri, Castello Cavour di Santena, Palazzo Biandrate-Royal Mutua Historical Museum, Lavazza Museum, House Martini.
The event, directed by Domenico Maria Papa, reaches its fifth edition this year and proposes a journey through the languages of contemporaneity - sculpture, painting, theater, music, literature - in dialogue with some of the most beautiful residences in Piedmont.
