HERMÈS IN THE MAKING

19 - 29 May 2022 | OGR Turin

Hermès and OGR invite the public in Corso Castelfidardo 22 in Turin to meet the maison's artisans, and to discover their creative and innovative spirit through their skilled gestures. «Hermès in the Making» will be held at OGR Torino, an international experimentation center for contemporary culture, research and innovation from 19 to 29 May 2022.

Objects designed to last, to be repaired and transmitted. Eleven artisans belonging to ten of the maison's métier arrived with their tool bags to show you their savoir-faire: observe the finest materials and processing techniques, discover the tricks of the trade.

Their work reflects the Hermès ethics, which is more relevant today than ever: protection and development of savoir-faire often linked to a tradition or a historical region, search for quality, durability and innovation and respect for surrounding environment, values in harmony with the mission and planning that distinguish OGR Torino, a creative and dynamic hub where contemporary art and innovation meet, creating the ideal context for international events.

Hermès in the Making offers a journey to discover craft demonstrations, films, ateliers and animations, a visit tailored to your interests, desires and themes that arouse your curiosity.
