As the closest neighbour to Nidaros Cathedral, you’ll find Trondheim kunstmuseum, showcasing changing exhibitions of contemporary art, as well as historical works from the museum’s impressive art collection. Well-known and prominent figures from Norwegian art history are housed in the permanent exhibition on the first floor, while the second floor features current and contemporary names from Norwegian and international art.
