What role does sound play in the choice and consumption of the foods we bring to our tables? Starting from February 22, 2025, and throughout the year, the MUSE - Science Museum of Trento presents “Food Sound. The hidden sound of food,” a unique exhibition that reveals the importance of the sound component in our diet, from stimulating appetite to influencing the purchase of food items. Through an experiential approach, the exhibition makes it possible to learn about the results and discoveries of scientific research related to neuroscience and increase awareness regarding the use of sounds in marketing. A fascinating, largely unexplored and innovative theme that, through an innovative scientific-poetic narrative approach and a mode of enjoyment conducted through headphone sounds, will undoubtedly transform our common perception of food.
