In MUSE Agorà, scientific, poetic, and philosophical narratives challenge the position of our gaze towards rocks, fossils, and minerals, along with the mountains, deserts, and oceans of which they are a part. Mineral Ecologies, through visual, textual, material, oral, and filmic narratives, invite us to understand the unity and interdependence of these layered stories. The installation site-specific by Chiara Camoni translates the permeability between the mineral, plant, and animal realms through a coexistence of forms, colors, and materials that exist in a space of sharing. A new organism is composed in the ecosystem of the exhibition and interacts with the film works of artists Yto Barrada, Liv Bugge, and Ana Vaz.
