The MUba - Eugène Leroy is the Museum of Fine Arts of Tourcoing, in Upper France. Inaugurated in 1860, the museum is housed in the Roussel-Defontaine hotel, a palace built in 1866 that testifies to the typical architecture in vogue during the empire of Napoleon III. The museum holds a collection of works ranging from the Renaissance to the present day. An important aspect of the museum is precisely that of making contemporary art dialogue in the same space with that of previous centuries. The works of artists such as Eustache La Sueur, Millet, Rembrandt, Piranesi, Dürer, Canaletto, therefore interact with contemporary works by artists such as Felten-Massinger, Antoine Petitprez, Philippe Cazal, Martin Barré or Jean Fautrier.
