The Scroppo Gallery is a contemporary exhibition space located in the heart of the Waldensian valleys, fifty kilometers from Turin. The gallery has shaped its identity inspired by the artist's cultural vision and art critic Philip Scroppo he made for forty years the exhibitions of contemporary art (1949-1991) transforming Torre Pellice in an attractive center for artistic research emerging national level. The assets of the Civic Gallery of Torre Pellice has about five hundred works of contemporary Italian art of painting, sculpture, drawing, graphics and photography. The collection reflects the developments of the main trends that have been faced and succeeded, in particular on Turin and Piedmont art scene since World War II to the eighties. For the importance of the authors and the range of artistic experiences attested, the museum collection of Pellice Tower stands outside a provincial actually placing themselves in a context of national importance. Among the artists are Casorati, Gallizio, Garelli, Gribaudo, Feed dog, Levi, Mastroianni, Merz, Mondino, Pistoletto, Ruggeri, Saroni, Scroppo, Soffiantino, Spazzapan.
