National Archaeological Museum of Tarquinia

The National Archaeological Museum of Tarquinia is located inside the ancient Vitelleschi Palace, in the medieval center of the city. This museum has one of the most important collections of Etruscan art in Italy, including the reconstructions of tombs, restoration of the original frescoes of tombs transferred from the Monterozzi necropolis, including those from the tomb of the Nave, from the tomb of the triclinium, from the tomb of the chariot, from the tomb of the Leopards, from the tomb of the Olympics; famous people such as those illustrated by the theme of the Sarcophagus of the Obese.
