On Thursday 27 October at 6.00 pm at the CRAC Puglia (Research Center for Contemporary Art) of the Rocco Spani Onlus Foundation, the inauguration of the exhibition between word and image entitled "Works & Works. Tribute to Mario will take place in the new Project room. Lodi ", curated by Lara Caccia and Massimo Iiritano, as part of the retrospective exhibition" Ettore Sordini 60s-70s ". The exhibition is promoted and organized by the Rocco Spani Onlus Foundation, by the Amica Sofia association (association for the research and promotion of dialogic philosophy practices in school and society, belonging to the FISSU department of the University of Perugia) and by the CRAC Puglia , together with the National Committee for the Mario Lodi Centenary and in collaboration with national and territorial institutions - the associations F @ MU (Families at the Museum), the Committee for the Quality of Life, the Marco Motolese Association, the Italian Federation of Associations and Clubs for UNESCO of Taranto, Dante Alighieri Society of Taranto section, Friends of Taranto Museums, Tarenti Cives, Elle Association, #Ante Litteram, Taranto Group and FAI Taranto delegation, project-exhibition sponsored by the Municipality of Taranto, the Puglia Region and the University of Bari.
Works & Works. Homage to Mario Lodi is a project created, on the occasion of the centenary of his birth, with the contribution of four established masters of the contemporary art scene: Giulio De Mitri, Pietro Fortuna, Marco Pellizzola, Antonio Violetta, and four well-known poets from Puglia - Vittorino Curci, Daniele Giancane, Gabriella Grande, Silvano Trevisani - who, through different languages, celebrate, without rhetoric, the commitment made by the teacher Lodi for an active pedagogy in which the emotional, social, linguistic and cultural growth of minors takes place in an educational and didactic context based on the class community, open to the territorial context and democratically managed by the educator in collaboration with his students.
