closed Halloween at MARTA: an original and engaging treasure hunt

The event

On All Saints' Eve, leave pumpkins and “trick or treat” at home and try to let your children live the experience of an original and engaging Halloween with the treasure hunt inside the MARTA exhibition halls.

The director of the National Archaeological Museum of Taranto, Eva Degl'Innocenti, announces the program for children, who opens the doors of the Museum for 31 October, on the day traditionally linked to the Celtic party. Zeus d'Ugento, exhibited on the second floor of the Taranto Museum, to welcome children who want to participate in this experience.

The treasure hunt is one of the most loved games by children - comments the director Eva Degl'Innocenti - the same ones who, after long periods of pandemic, are instead asked to set in motion not only their body, but especially their own mind with riddles, clues and mysteries that will lead them to know the close link between them and their ancestors.

Two appointments for the treasure hunt: at 9.30 and 11.30. The activity will last one hour.

The experience is reserved for children aged 5 to 11 and is free for children only. Adults, on the other hand, will be able to buy the Museum ticket (info and reservations on adult admission ticket) to visit the MARTA while the children will be immersed in the activity. Even parents, grandparents, uncles will thus be able to discover all the secrets of MARTA.
