The De Chiara De Maio Foundation was born in 2019 from the desire of the current president, Diodato De Maio, to honor the memory of his parents, Giuseppina De Chiara and Michele De Maio.

Culture, territory, accessibility are the key words of our work. Each of our initiatives responds to a precise objective: to spread Culture, making it accessible to everyone and generating a positive impact on our reference territory.

With these premises, in 2021 we inaugurated our operational headquarters: a space designed to bring art closer to the community. In our exhibition rooms it is possible to immerse yourself in a journey backwards from the external section, dedicated to contemporary art , to the internal one, dedicated to ancient and modern art .

Our headquarters is intended to be a treasure chest for the works and a setting for the events that we periodically host: since its inauguration it has gradually established itself as a mediator of contemporary art, usually the preserve of large cities, in a small centre. The Colori exhibition was recently inaugurated, which will see us engaged for some years in promoting contemporary art to a large audience.
