Forte Santa Tecla reopens to the public, after the stop due to the restoration works, with the exhibition “From the Velocipede to the Racing Bicycle”. An exhibition that will allow you to enter the history of cycling, in conjunction with the passage of the Giro d'Italia from Sanremo. The event is organized by the private collection On the Bicycle , belonging to Beatrice Cozzi Parodi, president of the homonymous Group.


From 1 May 2022 a temporary exhibition will take place that will allow the public to retrace the evolution of the bicycle starting from its origins. There will be exceptional relics that tell and document the history, development and influence on social mores of the ingenious invention that is the bicycle . Among the examples of the On the Bicycle collection will be exhibited a Legnano corse from 1960, a Bianchi from 1924 and a Umberto Dei from 1935, in memory of the first editions of the Giro d'Italia that these brands approached starting from 1911.


On Sunday 1st May at 11.00 the exhibition “FROM VELOCIPEDE TO BICICLETTA DA CORSA” opens, an exhibition of historical bicycles and memorabilia from the private collection On the Bicycle belonging to Beatrice Cozzi Parodi. The exhibition will remain open every day, except Mondays, from 10.30 to 13.00 and from 15.30 to 18.00, up to and including 05 June. For the day of May 1st, admission will be free. For the remaining days full admission 4 euros, reduced 2 euros (for young people between 18 and 25 years), free for children under 18.
