The Magna Science Adventure Center is a science and technology museum in the city of Rotherham. It is located in a disused steel mill in the Templeborough district. This same site housed the Steel, Peech and Tozer mills. The Magna Science Adventure Center was redesigned by architects Wilkinson Eyre Architects, Mott MacDonald and Buro Happold. Inside the museum, the main exhibitions are divided into four pavilions according to the main natural elements: Earth, Air, Fire and Water. There is also a large Sci-Tek outdoor play area and a water play area called Aqua-Tek. The museum exhibits are known for the extreme attention to detail and the innovation with which they are studied: for example, various spectacular effects have been introduced that reproduce the working of steel, operations carried out in a steel mill and foundry.
