The exhibition Another fashion. Shades and meanings that make every detail of life precious, scheduled at the Museum of the Walls from July 8th to August 6th, aims to highlight, through photography, the many garments and accessories adopted by the world of fashion and then assimilated into everyday life, while also attempting to subvert their common sense to discover their deeper, often unknown meanings. The architect of this journey through the history of fashion and some of its symbolic objects is Raimondo Rossi, known as Ray Morrison, an artist and fashion photographer very active in the United States and recently awarded in Hollywood with the recognition Inspired by you. 

The exhibition is promoted by Roma Capitale - Department for Major Events, Sports, Tourism, and Fashion in collaboration with the Department of Culture and the Capitoline Superintendence for Cultural Heritage. Museum services by Zètema Progetto Cultura. Curated by Raimondo Rossi.

In addition to enhancing the individuality that emerges from the gazes of the models, Rossi's rich reportage invites the visitor to have a respectful and conscious approach to the world of fashion, to analyze the image, and to reflect on every single detail present in the field. Not only to understand the symbolic value of objects now considered common but also to overcome the stereotypes that the world of fashion has built around them for decades. Thus, behind the image of lips decorated with lipstick or the shot of a boy wearing a hoodie, there are actually long paths and social processes through which those objects have walked. Tortuous journeys made of cultural battles and difficult historical moments, often linked to stories of discrimination or the lives of past heroes who tied their image to those objects.
