From 18 June to 29 September 2019
"Family Portrait" is a choral story that, in a path of over 100 photographs and a selection of works , gives the visitor a story in images of the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art. A multifaceted story, not stereotyped, sometimes intimate, like that of someone who portrays a place of affection. The exhibition, through the careful objectives of the photographers involved, intertwines memories and suggestions, leading to a transversal reading of the Gallery and its history. An inlay of experiences, a "matter of glances", to quote John Berger, a sort of slideshow where everyone becomes the protagonist of their own narration.
