The Driving Energy Award , created by Terna and managed by TernaCult, the structure dedicated to cultural promotion projects inside and outside the Company, is back on display at Palazzo Esposizioni in Rome.

From 27 September to 15 October , the 41 photographic works chosen by the Jury as finalists for this second edition of the Award will be exhibited in an exhibition with strictly free access .

The authors interpreted this year's theme, In Praise of Balance, based on a cornerstone of Terna's mission, dispatching: that is, the activity that guarantees the entire country a balance between the energy produced and consumed.

The five winners will be announced on September 27 . To the awards up for grabs confirmed from 2022 - Senior Award, Young Award, Terna's Most Voted Work Mention - there are two new features designed for an even more inclusive Award: the Amateur Award, dedicated to non-professionals, and the Academy Mention, dedicated to students enrolled in academic institutions in the sectors relevant to the Award.

To make the experience of the exhibition as complete as possible, this year the Driving Energy Award is also available on smartphones and tablets. In fact, the PDE App (Driving Energy Award) will be available free of charge, both for Android and iOS devices, which offers exclusive content on the finalist authors and the functionality of viewing the works in Augmented Reality.

In addition to the App, the exhibition can be visited at any time and from every part of the world through the virtual tour and the space in the Metaverse, this year with a space designed specifically to offer users an original and significant experience to live as integration and enrichment of the physical exhibition.
