On Wednesday, February 18, 2026, the Fondazione Pastificio Cerere presents EVERY CARESS, A BLOW, a solo exhibition by Martina Zanin curated by Antonio Grulli. The exhibition will be open to the public from Thursday, February 19 to Saturday, April 18, 2026.

Martina Zanin's work, deeply rooted in the autobiographical dimension, investigates complex relational dynamics marked by absence, memory, trauma, tension, and power. Using different media - from photography to sculpture, to installation - the artist explores the subtle threshold between protection and control, focusing on the theme of vulnerability. Her research also includes the relationship between humans and animals, activating metaphors and parallels.

EVERY CARESS, A BLOW invites viewers to pause at the boundary of tension between care and control, affection and power, inheritance and possession. The exhibition explores how the body and identity take shape through power and affective dominance relationships that bind the subject to those who protect them.

At the intersection of psychology, ethology, spirituality, and personal experience, Zanin presents a body of work that spans photography, installation, and architectural elements. The predator/prey dynamic is central to her work. The falcon and the hare become symbolic and totemic presences, linked to an ancestral power and the relationship between ferocity, instinct, tension, and vulnerability.
