The National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art inaugurates the exhibition Marina Malabotti photograph. A public and private look , dedicated to a figure who has wisely combined ethnographic and anthropological investigation with a personal aesthetic research in photography.
The work of Marina Malabotti, a Roman artist who died prematurely at the age of 41 in 1988, is rediscovered in a place that is particularly significant for her, a museum for which she has felt such an affection as to make it the subject of a precious and innovative investigation in 1980, through a project which remained unfinished and unpublished which was intended to be the documentation of a year of activity of the National Gallery.
