On Monday, September 9, 2024, the Hendrik Christian Andersen Museum House will inaugurate the exhibition "The oases of the third millennium" by Reinhard Pfingst.
The exhibition, curated by Maria Giuseppina Di Monte and Gabriele Simongini, presents for the first time the multi-year research of the German-Japanese sculptor, who has been an adopted Roman for forty years, on the contemplative poetry of spaces, which is mainly articulated in a series of architectural-sculptural models on a scale. The exhibition is complemented by some sculptures in marble and synthetic materials, a selection of sketches with vivid chromaticism, and some pictorial studies, configuring the overall vision of the artist of ideal places and spaces, conceived and realized with artistic means and modalities, where one can go to reflect, meditate, contemplate.
