From 17 June to 20 September 2020
On Wednesday 17 June the National Roman Museum of Palazzo Altemps reopens to the public welcoming Filippo de Pisis , an exhibition that returns the pictorial sensitivity of the Ferrara artist and the leading role in the experience of Italian painting between the two wars.
The exhibition - together with twenty-six paintings - emphasizes a large selection of papers and watercolors. This Roman stage completes in an evocative way the itinerary created at the Museo del Novecento in Milan , where the largest Milanese retrospective of the last 50 years dedicated to de Pisis was presented in recent months.
Open to the public from 17 June to 20 September 2020 , the exhibition is also curated for this venue by Pier Giovanni Castagnoli, with Alessandra Capodiferro in charge of the Palazzo Altemps Museum.
