The Fondazione Pastificio Cerere, a space for creative production, a center for cultural exchange and meeting point for artists and curators, celebrates twenty years since its establishment with two exhibitions: the collective Angels. Fifty years of stories of Pastificio Cerere and Anche il sole sorge, the solo exhibition by Wang Yuxiang (Anhui in China, 1997), curated by the artistic director Marcello Smarrelli, open to the public from October 2 to November 30, 2024.
On this occasion, the new exhibition area designed by the architecture studio STARTT and a new path for the permanent collection will be inaugurated.
Anche il sole sorge, by Wang Yuxiang, an exhibition supported by MiC and SIAE within the "Per Chi Crea" program, presents a new body of work consisting of three site-specific installations with the concept of entropy as the only common thread, investigated by the artist as a complex system of relationships between man and nature.
The choice to invite this young artist of Chinese origin, who came to Rome to train and found at Pastificio Cerere a welcoming place to gain experience, confirms the Foundation's constant commitment to supporting and promoting the work of new generations of artists.
