Bramante Cloister

The Chiostro del Bramante is a 16th century Renaissance building in Rome, today used as an exhibition space for exhibitions, events and activities by the DART Institution , Chiostro del Bramante , whose mission has always been to make the Cloister a space open to the public with a 360° offer of cultural services and social encounters.

Alongside the main and priority activity of producing exhibitions of high scientific value, the Chiostro del Bramante is today one of the most interesting exhibition spaces in Italy, especially following an innovative restoration work which included the valorisation of new services museums, such as Cafeteria, Bookshop, Gallery Space and Trusses, integrating perfectly with the Renaissance architecture and attributing the vision of a continuously evolving Museum to the 16th century complex.

The exhibition itineraries of the Bramante Cloister, designed on the search for contemporary languages and the needs of today's visitor always starting from the real possibility of admiring priceless works of art, characterize the Great Exhibitions – from “Love. Contemporary art meets love" to "Escher", from "James Tissot" to "Macchiaioli", from "Chagall" to "Turner" - and allow a multi-sensory experience that inspires, involves and enriches.

Art as Lifestyle is in fact the driving concept of the co-creation of a cultural value through which over the years the Chiostro del Bramante has increasingly become a place of art accessible to all, welcoming more than 300,000 visitors every year.
