The Museo Benedetto Robazza in Rocca Priora, located within the Monsignor F. Giacci Cultural Center, was established in April 2018 to house the significant donation made by the artist to whom the museum is dedicated in the same year. The permanent collection revolves around the magnificent work represented by Dante's Inferno, a long frieze of eighteen panels measuring 2x2.5 meters in resin-coated marble powder, which, placed in the external courtyard, represent from left to right all XXXIV Cantos of the Inferno from Dante's Divine Comedy. It is a majestic work from 1995 first presented by Vittorio Sgarbi in Florence at the Sala Brunelleschi in Palazzo degli Innocenti, subsequently exhibited in Rome along Ponte Sisto in 2010, and then sent to China in 2011 where it was displayed at the Art Center in Wenzhou for three long years in a purchase negotiation by the Chinese State, which was never concluded. In 2013, the work found its place in the courtyard of Santa Croce in Florence and in 2015 in the gardens of Villa Comunale in Sorrento. Since 2018, it has been housed in the Museo civico Rocca Priorese, along with its preparatory plaster sketch and its charcoal and oil studies.
