URBAN TRILOGY / URBAN TRILOGY presents a selection of Radical Architecture films and projects focused on the theme of the city by Gianni Pettena and the Superstudio and Ufo groups, coming from the collections and archives of the Luigi Pecci Center for Contemporary Art and proposed by the next November 20, 2021 in parallel with the exhibition ART AND THE CITY / ART AND THE CITY, created in conjunction with the opening of the URBAN CENTER inside the Centro Pecci in Prato.

Three short films, together with original projects, publications and archival documents by the architect Gianni Pettena and the Florentine radical groups Superstudio and Ufo intend to confirm the interest of the Pecci Center for pioneering and visionary experiences in architecture, from the design of objects to urban scale, developed between the second half of the sixties and the early seventies and today linked to the public activities program of the new URBAN CENTER.

Until January 30, 2022, the exhibition will highlight a first part of the Radical nucleus collected at the Pecci Center over the last twenty years, which constitutes a unique heritage in the Italian museum panorama and strengthens the identity of the White Room on the first floor as an immersive space , suitable for historical reconnaissance and current reflections, accompanied by projections, meetings and performances.
