The show

The Luigi Pecci Center for Contemporary Art presents “Diego Marcon. Glaze”: the largest exhibition project created to date by Diego Marcon in an Italian institution, open to the public from 30 September until 4 February 2024.

Invited in January 2021 by the director Stefano Collicelli Cagol, the artist, among the most interesting on the international contemporary scene, made the ten rooms of the Gamberini wing his own, transforming them into an immersive experience through new or existing works arranged in a single installation designed ad hoc for the Pecci Center.

Marcon explores the boundary between cinema and visual arts, investigating the relationship between reality and moving images and coordinating the movement of visitors through the use of void, time and light. The exhibition includes the film "Dolle", the winning project of the "PAC2021 - Plan for Contemporary Art", promoted by the General Directorate of Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture. The collaboration with the architect Andrea Faraguna enriches the experience.
