The show

The single-channel video installation " ZWEI (due) " by Christian Niccoli was produced as part of the ninth edition of the Italian Council and talks about interdependence and the impact that our choices can have on others, both on a personal level and in a more extended. The video installation consists of a monitor mounted vertically on the wall and tells a social metaphor. Two men are linked by a mutual dependence, that is, they are hung on the two ends of a rope that lies on a very high wall. I am therefore in a seemingly eternal limbo, without really finding a common way out. The work will become part of the permanent collection of the MAN - Museo d'Arte Provincia di Nuoro .

The video installation is flanked by a pop-up book published by Silvana Editoriale, in which the story told in the video is transposed onto a paper format. The five pop-ups tell the story of the two individuals in bizarre poised situations.

The installation and the book are presented, in addition to the Pecci Center in Prato , also at Belvedere21 in Vienna , the Museum of Contemporary Art in Szczecin in Poland , at the MAMbo in Bologna , MAN - Museum of Art in the Province of Nuoro , by Kunst Merano Arte in Merano and at the Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart .
